I think the D4S photos is a little “soft”?
Looks like “improved” noise reduction. Noise level roughly the same, but D4s blurs way more.
D4 results looks a bit sharper at the lower ISO values!
Hey guys… what’s wrong with the focus on the D4S?
Something very wrong here people. Nikon I really hope that this is not the case, IT is clearly noticeable the the D4 wipes the floor up to ISO 12800. This is why I have not budged since D700. Not to say that the D4 is not a good camera but when I see the files from older cameras such as D3s and D3 etc. just seemed to be quite sharper. This is what Nikon was always known for. I believe the want to compete with the Canon they have allowed softness to come in. But Canon have somewhat mastered the ‘Art’ of the soft image. Nikon I believe is trying to follow suite. Ok if so allow the D800 to fulfill this roll. Hence the D800E is giving sharper photos than the top of the line D4S! The D4S is supposed to be the sharpest tool in the shed!
These shots not withstanding, I can assure you the D4 is FAR superior to the D3 or 3s. . .. in every metric that cameras can be measured. . .I don’t what you use or what proficiency you have by to post that the D800E is “giving sharper” photos than “the top of the line D4s” is almost libelous if it wasn’t so funny or sad. . .. any further discussion her is pointless, you just don’t know WTF you are posting about. . . .dunce. . sorry
again this is what i notice in sample pics…if they tweak and improve for release so be it. its just what i see until i see other wise….well i’ll wait till the world cup football pics really it the photography media to see what has been used . Say what you will but D3 /D3s in my opinion were game changers that still running things. we will see. BTW. I just bought a second had D3…simply because i have not been totally blown away yet by what the new camera imagery can produce. IMHO of course 😛 ..and no need for name calling mate.

All i’m saying is based on these images posted here the D4 is sharper…ok let me go look at a few other images from the web. BTW… most of the assessments i make about cameras is on the net. and I bet many other do too. So ya point is moot. Now if i can take the camera out for a day to test and view my own images i may change my mind. I know its a better camera especially its focusing. I want to see some images from world cup. I know that many of the images are also from D810 too
