Canon Japan has just filed a new lens patent on EF 40-800mm f/4.5-5.6 super telephoto zoom all-in-one lens.
The upcoming Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is now is confirmed, it is already registered with the Indonesian Certification Authority. The DS126601 is the internal name for the EOS 5D Mark IV.

According to CanonRumors, the upcoming Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM lens is delayed. The official announcement will be around Photokina 2016 in September. This lens could be announced with EOS 5D Mark IV, EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens, and EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens.
Canon Japan has just filed a new lens patent on EF 70-200mm f/2.8 DO (Diffractive Optics) lens. It is suggested that this lens will be announced before 2020.
